About a week ago I was out looking for projects at Goodwill and didn’t have any luck so I decided to go to the local Restore to see if they had anything. I hadn’t been there in months because our local store has really high prices on furniture so I usually just avoid going there, but decided to give it a shot. I am SO glad I did. When I got there they were having 50% off everything! As I started browsing this beauty caught my eye…
I looked at the price tag and even at half price it was still a little too much for what I was willing to pay for projects for my booth. I looked around and grabbed some cabinet doors to make some signs (you can see a farmhouse one I made for my home on my Instagram). I got to the register with my doors and asked the cashier if there was any way he could go a little bit lower on the dresser and he said no he could get a lot more for it. I sadly said ok and grabbed my doors for him to ring up and then all the sudden he says he needs to get rid of stuff so he would let me have it for the price I asked! I wanted to jump up and down in excitement but figured that would probably look a little weird, so I refrained. So I called my awesome hubby and he was just about to go on his lunch break so he graciously came to pick up my dresser with his pickup (he’s the best).
I painted the drawers with General Finishes Milk paint in Linen and the rest is in Snow White. The knobs and handles are from Hobby Lobby and the top is stained with Cabot in Antique Walnut. I used General Finishes Topcoat in Flat.
I LOVE the curves on the top of this dresser!
