Happy Monday everyone! I know its been a while since I’ve blogged, August was just so hectic! Its good to be back! If you follow me on Instagram you’ve already heard, but for those that don’t I have some exciting news! Along with my booth at The Fussy Duck you will now be able to find a few of my items at The Urban Coop in West Linn! Tiffany has done such an amazing job with this shop, it is just the cutest! It makes my farmhouse lovin heart so happy. So next time you are in the West Linn area make sure to stop by!
This dresser that I just finished will be making its way to The Urban Coop at the end of the week.
I branched out a little and used a charcoal gray for this dresser. I usually stick with whites and light grays but I was up for a change. This paint is Queenstown Gray by General Finishes. The top was stained in Cabot Antique Walnut. I used General Finishes High Performance Topcoat. I cannot rave enough about this topcoat, it is my favorite! Goes on easily, dries quickly and gives it a matte finish. I can’t express enough how important it is to use a topcoat. Not only will it protect your piece but it also makes the color just a tad more vibrant.
I hope you have a great week friends!
