Happy Monday friends! I hope your week is off to a good start! This last weekend I was in the garage the entire time working on projects! I was so excited to refinish this farmhouse dresser and I almost couldn’t part with it, but unfortunately we don’t have the space for it so it will have to find a good home!
This dresser already had good bones so all it needed was a coat of paint and some distressing. Here’s the before…
I started off by sanding the top to bare wood and staining it with Cabot Wood Stain in Antique Walnut. The top was in rough shape so I wanted to spruce it up a bit. I sealed the top with a Minwax wipe on poly.
The paint I used was General Finishes Milk Paint in Snow White. I did two coats and then distressed it. I sealed the paint portion with General Finishes Topcoat.
The knobs and pulls I got from Hobby Lobby. You may be seeing these pulls on a lot of future pieces, they are my favorite look right now!
Here it is!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
