Let’s be honest, bathrooms are difficult. You want them to be cute but they also need to be functional. Sometimes it can be hard finding the right items to create a pretty bathroom while also making sure it is organized and serves it’s actual purpose. Today I’m going to share our farmhouse bathroom organization with you in hopes to give you ideas for your home. And please bear with me as our bathroom has no natural light, so photos were a little difficult with this one.

Let’s start with our towel rack. I can’t stress enough that you need to get rid of that builder grade towel rack that’s in every other home. It’s an easy step to customize your home and give it farmhouse charm. Our towel rack was a DIY that I made a while back. I still haven’t written a post about it but I hope to get it to you soon. If you want a quick version, I just took an old cabinet door and painted it. Hubs put the shelf on top and then I added the hooks, which I got from Hobby Lobby. Bam, custom towel rack done. I found similar hooks [HERE] which I think will actually work better than the ones I used and they are cheaper.
Don’t want to build your own? I will link a few farmhouse style towel racks that I found for you at the end of this post. The wood sign I got from Adorned Decor, she was so sweet to make a custom one for this space.
Toilet Paper Holder
Toilet paper isn’t the cutest item in the bathroom but it’s definitely a necessity. And if it’s not then I think you might be doing it wrong! It’s important to have the toilet paper easily accessible, especially for guests. There’s nothing worse than using the restroom at someones home just to find out the roll is all out. If it’s not in plain sight your guests are left searching all the cabinets or drawers trying to find another roll. Come on, we’ve all been in that situation, not fun. I found this wire container at Real Deals and it holds my rolls perfectly. I’ve linked the same exact one [HERE].
It’s cute, easily accessible and totally farmhouse. Now do your guests a favor and don’t hide the TP in the cabinet, I promise there’s a way to make it cute.
Hand Towel Holder
Just like the towel rack, same goes for the hand towel holder. Get rid of that builder grade rack and get something to add that farmhouse charm to your bathroom. You could do something simple with hooks or you can do something like we did in our bathroom.
I purchased this towel rack at Hobby Lobby and I just love it. The shelf adds more storage so things aren’t just sitting all over the counter. I couldn’t find this rack online but I did find a similar farmhouse one [HERE].
