Hello friends! Today is the 3rd reveal for the design series. I have been loving this series and I am amazed at the creativity that is out there! God has gifted so many people with such an amazing talent. For my third reveal I found this awesome bench for $5 at a garage sale and I couldn’t pass it up.
I started out by sanding the wood (the wood portion is all one piece that comes off the metal legs). Then I painted the wood white (General Finishes Antique White) and used tape to make my stripes and painted with charcoal (Americana Décor Relic). For the metal legs I just spray painted with Rustoluem gray. I used two coats of color and one coat of clear lacquer. In one evening I had a “brand new” bench!
Here’s the before…
And the after…
What do you think of this grain sack striped bench?
